ACI – Foreign Object Debris Prevention – E-learning

Short summary

Foreign Object Debris (FOD) poses a major security risk on airport premises. This 15-minute e-learning module raises awareness around the dangers and consequences of FOD in operational areas. Participants learn to recognise risks and practice with scenarios in which they have to choose the right response. The impact of their decisions is explained immediately. This training is ideal for airside employees and requires no prior knowledge. The training is part of the ‘Airside Safety + Assessment’ e-learning package and concludes with a certificate from Ahlex. Available in Dutch, French and English.

Objectives

The ACI Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Prevention course assists airport personnel to understand the threat posed by FOD and explores the key elements of a FOD program that can help airports to successfully manage this threat.
