Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause serious damage to avionics components. In this 4-hour e-learning, you will learn how to prevent electrostatic discharge when assembling, repairing and testing electrical components. The training, based on NEN-EN-IEC 61340-5, covers preventive measures and guidelines for safe working environments. Practice-oriented questions test your knowledge and skills. The course concludes with an exam, which requires a score of 75%. Participants receive an AM&TS certificate. Available in English.
This course is developed with NEN-EN-IEC 61340-5 section 1 and 2 as reference, and the course is created with the intention to introduce individuals involved in the assembly, reapair and testing of electrical components to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). This course takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete.
Training slides are followed up with question slides. These question slides are included in the training to test your knowledge, skills and attitude towards Electrostatic Discharge ESD – Preventive . At the end of
On completion of this course, graduates will be able to:
to handle Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive equipment appropriately and you are able to effectively manage Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive components and devices in an Aircraft technical Environment.
the course you will receive a final examination. For both you need to pass with a score of 75% or more.
