Short summary

Putting out an incipient fire quickly and correctly can save lives and reduce damage. During this hands-on, half-day training course, you will learn to recognise different types of fires and use appropriate extinguishers correctly. Besides a theoretical basis on fire development and safety, you will get hands-on experience with fire extinguishers, fire blankets and wall reels. This training is ideal for anyone who wants to respond appropriately in the event of a fire alarm or evacuation. Afterwards, you will receive a participation certificate. The training is given in Dutch and French, with no prior knowledge required.

Anyone who needs to be able to respond appropriately to a starting fire.

Objectives

In this training you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to use the first intervention extinguishing equipment and to respond correctly to a starting fire.

The aim of this training is to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as to understand the basic concepts of safety and to acquire responsibility and effectiveness.
