Event concepts developed for product launches, engagement building, partnership strengthening and innovation.
During its first year of activity, AHLEX welcomed more than 1,100 guests across 60 events. Many clients came with a similar need. They wanted an event location that was easy to reach, but not predictable. A place that could give their message more weight, bring people together in a different way and turn a gathering into a moment people would remember.
For E-TROVA, that meant creating the right stage for the handover of the first fully electric retrofit truck to Ninatrans. The AHLEX hall offered the scale and flexibility to bring the truck inside and welcome more than 100 guests, while still offering a more intimate setting for speeches and presentations. With Annick De Ridder, Flemish Minister for Mobility, Public Works, Ports and Sport, in attendance, the venue helped turn a product launch into a strong milestone around circular and affordable decarbonisation in heavy-duty transport.
For EFRO, the challenge was different. The event brought together promoters, companies, municipalities, knowledge institutions and policymakers during a tour of impactful European projects. AHLEX added value by combining the focus of a lecture setting with the energy of a networking event, in a distinctive space overlooking the Brussels Airport runways. It gave participants the opportunity to exchange ideas, share expertise and find inspiration for future initiatives.
For Brussels Airport Company and KPMG, AHLEX co-hosted the Brussels Airport SAP Airport Innovation Summit. Nearly 100 international innovation managers gathered to exchange ideas and explore technology in the digital experience area. The digital table, VR training, simulators and interactive setups made the airport world visible and tangible. The event then closed with Belgian food and drinks in a setting where departing aircraft became part of the experience.
Across these events, the value was not only in the location. AHLEX helped shape the flow, the atmosphere and the interaction. Each concept was built to create momentum, support the message and make people feel welcome, involved and connected.
The result is a strong first event year, with satisfaction scores above 9/10 and positive testimonials shared on social media. Clients value the creative but practical and down-to-earth approach and the versatility of the AHLEX hub. Participants remember the unique and innovative setting, and the AHLEX team keeps raising the bar with every event.
