I recently completed the APOC training and gained a wealth of insights. As the manager of Prague Airport OCC (which should soon transform into an APOC), I was eager for hands-on experience that I could immediately apply in my role, and this training delivered exactly that. I was genuinely impressed by the depth of knowledge, practical tools, and tips and tricks shared throughout the program. During the simulation, I was assigned the role of APOC Manager - how fitting! - and was challenged to respond under pressure in a constantly evolving scenario. It was intense, realistic, and incredibly valuable. What stood out most was the group dynamic. The collaboration and team spirit were exceptional, and together we navigated the exercise successfully. An outstanding experience from start to finish!

The APOC Manager Training Program with Airport Intelligence and Ahlex was a truly impactful experience. Attending my 3rd IATA CEIV refresher, this time virtually led, was a seamless experience. From providing course materials to guiding us through Zoom and exam links, the moderator ensured we were well-prepared throughout. Our seasoned trainer brought a wealth of knowledge to the session, covering the intricacies of the CEIV Pharma program. We delved into vital topics, such as the updated CEIV Pharma checklist, Temperature Control Regulations, QMS management, and handling deviations, CAPA, and risk management. The course also detailed infrastructure and equipment qualification, temperature mapping, and the complexities of the Air Freight Qualification process. The interactive discussions with participants enriched our understanding, and real-life examples illuminated the requirements. Engaging with stakeholders from the entire Pharma Cold Chain was enlightening, offering insights into various challenges and local guidelines. A valuable experience indeed. 29.09.2023

IATA congratulates Aviato Academy on achieving the IATA CBTA Center certification. This certification is proof of Aviato Academy's commitment to offering Dangerous Goods training in line with the Competency-Based Training approach for Dangerous Goods by air, which legally comes into effect on 01.01.2023. The safe transportation of dangerous goods is a priority for the industry, with training being a crucial element. Aviato Academy will thus meet the requirements that come into force on 1 January 2023 in a timely manner. 12.07.2022
During Corona, Aviato Academy was able to offer its training courses digitally in record time. This rapid adaptation to online training has allowed us to train our personnel. Some of our employees followed the training for customs (assistant) declarants. Our employees who work in the restaurants and bars at Brussels Airport are in daily contact with customers. Ensuring safe operations is therefore key for Autogrill. Therefore, we ensure that our staff follows the mandatory first aid and small fire extinguisher training at Ahlex. Our staff is very positive about both the organisation and the trainers at Ahlex. This way, our employees can apply first aid on the work floor and know what and what not to do with small extinguishers in case of fire; and this in anticipation of the intervention of specialised services.
