Working with a forklift – Basic – 3 days (reach truck option)

Short summary

This three-day basic course is designed for employees who want to learn how to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, with an optional module for the reach truck. Theory covers forklift and reach truck types, stability, safety rules, load handling and environmental care. In practice, participants practice driving techniques, breakdown control, interaction with pedestrians and working in warehouse racks. Participants must be at least 18 years old and medically fit. Available in Dutch and French.

Beginner forklift drivers with little or no experience.

With over 25 years of hands-on experience as a mobile equipment technician, I’ve developed a deep technical expertise in forklifts, reach trucks and a wide range of internal transport equipment. Today, this practical background is the foundation of my work as a trainer and instructor. I deliver training in Dutch, English and French, always tailoring my approach to suit both beginners and seasoned professionals. My focus is on combining safety and efficiency with solid theoretical knowledge, while keeping sessions interactive, practical and clear so every participant can get the most out of the experience. My mission goes beyond preparing people for certification. I aim to instill confidence and a strong sense of responsibility, ensuring that operators can handle mobile equipment not only safely and efficiently, but with true professionalism.
