Working with a forklift – Expert – IS-001

Summary

This training provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently in more demanding operational environments. Participants learn to perform pre-use inspections, handle complex loads, apply advanced driving techniques and operate the equipment in accordance with safety regulations. The course combines theory and practical exercises and leads to an official BESACC-VCA certification.

• Forklift operators who want to obtain or renew an official forklift certificate
• Warehouse and logistics personnel
• Employees operating forklifts in more complex working environments

Objectives

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Perform a pre-use inspection of a forklift truck
• Apply safe operating and advanced driving techniques
• Handle, transport and stack loads safely and efficiently
• Operate a forklift in warehouse racks and confined spaces
• Identify and report defects or unsafe situations
• Operate the equipment in accordance with applicable safety regulations

Additional information

Important: safety shoes are required during the practical training.
