Working with a Self-Propelled Aerial Work Platform – IS005 – Experienced

Short summary

AWPs are indispensable in sectors where work is carried out at height. Using them safely and efficiently requires specific knowledge and skills. Incorrect operation can lead to dangerous situations, such as overturning, electrocution or damage to the environment. It is therefore essential to apply correct driving techniques, respect work permits and report defects preventively. During this 1-day training course, participants learn in theory and practice how to operate an AWP safely and correctly. The training concludes with an exam and is available in Dutch and French.

Target Audience

Any person, with or without experience, who has to operate an aerial work platform.

Objectives

• Acquire the knowledge and skills needed to learn how to operate a self-propelled aerial work platform efficiently and safely.
• Train operators to report faults preventively, thereby avoiding accidents and injuries.
• Teach operating and driving techniques to reduce the environmental damage caused by transport.
