Summary

Module 3 focuses on the inspection of scaffolding and the supervision of scaffolding activities. Participants learn how to assess scaffolding before it is put into use and how to supervise the safe assembly, modification and dismantling of scaffolding. The training covers assembly and anchoring plans, permissible loads, stability calculations, inspections and documentation, combining theoretical knowledge with practical exercises.

Objectives

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Inspect scaffolding and assess whether it can be used safely
• Interpret and prepare assembly and anchoring plans
• Calculate permissible loads and assess scaffolding stability
• Identify missing, incorrect or unsafe scaffolding components
• Supervise the safe assembly, modification and dismantling of scaffolding
• Use inspection checklists and correctly document findings
