Scaffolder – AV-021

Summary

This training provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely assemble, use and dismantle scaffolding. Participants learn to apply safety regulations, assess risks, interpret assembly plans and work with appropriate fall protection and personal protective equipment. The course combines theory with hands-on exercises to ensure safe and compliant scaffold operations.

• Scaffolders
• Employees responsible for assembling, modifying or dismantling scaffolding
• Workers involved in work at height using scaffolding

Objectives

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Apply the legislation and safety requirements for scaffolding
• Identify and assess the risks associated with scaffold work
• Select and inspect scaffolding components and equipment
• Interpret scaffold assembly and anchoring plans
• Assemble, use and dismantle fixed and mobile scaffolding safely
• Apply safe working practices and fall protection measures
