Short summary
Safety starts with awareness and knowledge. During this one-day course, you will learn all about safety risks in the workplace and how to correctly assess and prevent them. The focus is on legislation, hazards, prevention and emergency procedures, including ergonomics and the use of personal protective equipment. You will be prepared for the SCC exam, which is compulsory for operational staff in high-risk work environments. After passing the theoretical exam, you will receive an SCC diploma valid for 10 years. No prior knowledge required, training available in Dutch and French.
Target Audience
This training is mandatory for the following target group(s):
- All operational employees who must be in possession of a VCA diploma 'Basic Safety'.
Objectives
The objective of the VCA Basic safety training is to sharpen the safety awareness of employees regarding safety, health and well-being at work.
The subjects of the training are chosen based on the various working conditions and risks that employees are confronted with.
The training ensures that they will evaluate various work situations with a view to safety. At the same time, this training forms a thorough preparation for the subsequent VCA exam.
