IATA Dangerous Goods -Basic Radioactive Module – Refresh 7.1 & 7.3
This refresher module provides an update on the regulations and procedures for shipping radioactive materials by air. Participants repeat how to correctly classify, package, label and document radioactive materials according to the latest IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). Risks, safety measures and emergency procedures are also refreshed. Ideal for professionals with expiring certification who want to update their knowledge. The module concludes with an exam and can only be taken in combination with a Dangerous Goods Refresher course. Available in Dutch, French and English.
This training is mandatory for all cargo personnel responsible for accepting and shipping radioactive material by air transport.
The IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) is mandatory for all forwarders, handlers, airlines & shippers that accept and ship Dangerous Goods by air.
This Refresher module allows you to determine the correct classification of a package by entering the concerned measured values.

Since 2002, I’ve been a certified IATA Dangerous Goods trainer and continue to teach in schools and industry. I now focus on CBTA-based training in dangerous goods — especially radioactives — while staying active in the field. Every role I’ve held reflects my commitment to safety, compliance, and knowledge-sharing in air cargo logistics.
