An introductory aviation security training compliant with EU Regulation 2015/1998 (Art. 11.2.3.10) for personnel involved in the secure airport supplies chain. The course provides essential knowledge about aviation security threats, regulatory requirements, prohibited items, and emergency response procedures.
This training is intended for all personnel working for a secured entity or a Known Supplier who have access to clearly identified airport supplies and who perform security controls other than screening.
Typical participants include, but are not limited to:
Warehouse personnel handling airport supplies
Logistics and supply chain staff delivering goods to airport operators
Drivers transporting secured airport supplies
Administrative staff managing supply documentation
Personnel involved in preparing or handling goods destined for secure airport areas
Every individual involved in the airport supplies supply chain contributes to aviation security and carries a specific responsibility within their role.
After completing the training, participants will:
Understand the main threats and risks affecting civil aviation
Gain insight into the organization and legal framework of aviation security
Understand the structure and responsibilities within the secure airport supplies chain
Recognize prohibited articles and understand security screening principles
Know how to react appropriately in emergency or security situations
Understand their individual responsibility in maintaining aviation security
Before any staff member participates in aviation security training that includes non-public security information, the Known Consignor, Regulated Agent, or Approved Haulier must ensure that:
A background check has been completed
The candidate possesses the required abilities and reliability to access sensitive security information
By registering employees for this training, the organization confirms that these requirements have been fulfilled.
