This Basic Civil Aviation Security Training – Airport Supplies provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles of protecting airport supplies within civil aviation. The course is developed in accordance with EU Regulation 2015/1998, Article 11.2.3.10, ensuring that personnel involved in the secure airport supplies chain meet the required security training standards.

Participants learn about the main threats to civil aviation, the European regulatory framework governing aviation security, and the responsibilities of all stakeholders involved in handling and protecting airport supplies destined for secure airport areas. The course highlights the importance of security awareness, compliance with security procedures, and the vital role every employee plays in maintaining the integrity of the secure supply chain.

By combining theoretical knowledge with practical operational examples, participants gain the skills needed to apply aviation security principles effectively and contribute to the protection of airport operations and infrastructure.

Target Audience

This training is intended for all personnel working for a secured entity or a Known Supplier who have access to clearly identified airport supplies and who perform security controls other than screening.

  • Warehouse personnel handling airport supplies
  • Logistics and supply chain staff delivering goods to airport operators
  • Drivers transporting secured airport supplies
  • Administrative staff managing supply documentation
  • Personnel involved in preparing or handling goods destined for secure airport areas
  • Every individual involved in the airport supplies supply chain contributes to aviation security and carries a specific responsibility within their role.

Upon passing the exam with a minimum score of 80%, you will receive a certificate valid for 12 months.

This training, compliant with EU Regulation 2015/1998 – Article 11.2.3.9, is offered in collaboration with Special Cargo College, a training organisation recognised by the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) for this module.
