Security Awareness – E-learning

Summary

The Security Awareness 11.2.7 e-learning provides participants with the essential knowledge and awareness required to contribute to aviation security in their daily work. The training is compliant with EU Regulation 2015/1998, Article 11.2.7.

Participants learn about current aviation security threats, applicable regulations, security roles and responsibilities, reporting procedures and appropriate responses to security incidents. The training emphasises vigilance, threat recognition and individual responsibility in maintaining a secure aviation environment.

Target Audience

This training is intended for persons requiring general security awareness training in accordance with EU Regulation 2015/1998, Article 11.2.7, including:

• Personnel requiring unescorted access to security restricted areas
• Personnel with access to secure air cargo, air mail, in-flight supplies or airport supplies
• Employees of known suppliers (KSAS)

Objectives

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Recognise past acts of unlawful interference, terrorist attacks and current aviation security threats
• Understand the applicable aviation security legislation and requirements
• Explain the objectives and organisation of aviation security within their working environment
• Understand individual security roles and responsibilities
• Recognise suspicious situations and potential security concerns
• Apply the correct reporting procedures
• Respond appropriately to aviation security incidents
• Contribute to a strong security culture through vigilance and security awareness

Additional information

The course concludes with an examination; a minimum score of 80% is required.
