Summary

This interactive training provides airport personnel and employees of related companies with the knowledge, skills, and appropriate mindset required to work safely and responsibly airside at Brussels Airport. Through realistic simulations, immersive learning, interactive touch tables, and gamification, participants learn to identify risks, apply safety rules correctly, report incidents, and respond appropriately to emergency situations.

The training places particular emphasis on common hazards such as Foreign Object Debris (FOD), unsafe vehicle use, jet blast, propeller wash, and engine intake zones. It also covers access control, personal protective equipment, traffic rules, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.

Through practical exercises and collaboration, participants are encouraged to take responsibility, proactively report unsafe situations, and contribute to a strong airside safety culture.
