Short summary

Dangerous goods require strict compliance in handling, storage and loading. This 6-hour training focuses on ramp personnel, airlines and ground handlers. Participants learn to identify dangerous goods, recognise labels and packaging specifications, and apply emergency procedures. Regulations surrounding passenger and crew baggage are also covered. The training concludes with a certificate that is valid for 2 years and is available in Dutch, French and English.

Operator’s and ground handling agent’s staff involved in the handling, storage, and loading of cargo or mail and baggage (ramp staff).

Certain regulations must be followed so that dangerous goods shipped by air do not endanger aircraft, passengers, or crew.

The Dangerous Goods Regulations for Handling and Loading Personnel course introduces the regulations concerning the transport of dangerous goods by air.

These include regulations on labelling, packaging and storage.
