APOC Management Training Advanced

Summary

Modern airports operate in an environment where disruptions can rapidly impact operations, passenger experience, and safety. Maintaining operational continuity requires strong coordination between stakeholders and the ability to respond effectively to complex and evolving situations.

This advanced training focuses on business continuity and operational resilience within airport operations, building on the collaborative principles used in APOC environments. Participants will deepen their understanding of how airports anticipate, manage, and recover from operational disruptions while maintaining efficient and safe operations.

Through advanced disruption management approaches, leadership development, and immersive operational simulations, participants will strengthen their ability to coordinate stakeholders, manage multiple simultaneous disruptions, and ensure operational continuity in high-pressure situations.

The programme is designed in line with the broader aviation framework for emergency preparedness, including Commission Regulation (EU) No 139/2014, which requires aerodrome operators to have and implement an aerodrome emergency plan, coordinate relevant organisations during emergencies, periodically test and review procedures, and ensure trained and competent personnel. It also reflects the principles of ICAO Annex 14 on aerodrome emergency planning and coordinated crisis response.
